Not that I've been a fourth year, but since when do we wait until the second week to do doggy doggy doggy?
A: Because it leads up to the Quadfest- the culmination of Doggy Doggy Doggy spirit. Fourth years began the chant the second week of TIP to spark "fear" into younger TIPsters and to prepare them for their inevitable doom in Quadfest. It's also pretty epic hearing it once a day, every day for a week before bursting out in a massive, day-long cheering on Saturday.
