The phrase itself doesn't need a page, but the event should have one. Anyone who might do that? Whit 16:17, 5 August 2006 (MST)

The thing is, the event itself was and probably still should be kept quiet, and not many people know exactly what happened. I guess it's up to them if they want to elaborate further on it. -Maria, 7:25 8/5

What would be a good name for the page? But, I wonder if it would be a good idea to not have a page for it out of respect for the students (I thought it was one, but whatever) and their privacy? If someone wants to create a page for it, that is fine, but lets keep that issue in mind. -- Anthony 16:42, 5 August 2006 (MST)

Its probably acceptable so long as no one particularly objects. 17:12, 5 August 2006 (MST)

I was calling it the Great Panic, because of how freaked out everyone was - remember how you, Miranda, Sam, my roommate and I freaked out in the study? It turned out that they didn't need the ambulance and no Tipsters were hurt, but other than that I'm fuzzy on the details - Maria. 8/5

So, do you want to rename it to that? -- Anthony 21:32, 5 August 2006 (MST)

I don't know if anyone else would know it by that. I'm actually okay with the title it has now. I guess even the bad memories should be remembered, huh? -Maria, 1:47 AM 8/6

Out of respect for those involved, I think it is kind of cruel to have the page on the Wiki. We want to focus on good times, not bad ones. Whataprettyfire 19:39, August 6th 2006

well let's face it....it happened and even though it's bad we can't just forget about it...I say leave it be how it is. We don't want to infringe on the privacy of those involved but still it should be mentioned. 9:45 PM August 9th 2006

Anthony's orginial question of relevancy and sheer point to this page brings up a good point that I think was somewhat overlooked. I completely agree with Josh's comment that this page should be deleted from the TiPwiki. For those of us directly involved, the days follwing what "may or may not have happened" (as it's obviously now being called) were very difficult. This page seems to somewhat trivialize the events to an ambiguous entry in an online forum and is perpetuating speculation, which is just honestly not appropriate at all. Regardless of what anyone may or may not know about what happened, what needs to be said is that this topic does not in any way, shape or form need to be made public or brought up in discussion about TiP, and is not beneficial or necessary in any way to the purpose of the Wiki. - , 4:53 PM August 18, 2006
