Research pond

The research pond is within walking distance of the Marine Lab and many classes there take field trips to it to do research. It contains a lot of thick, dark brown mud that smells bad and sharp oyster shells buried under harmless-looking, smooth mud. Ironically, it is muddier than the mudflats.
