Official TIP Songs ~ Songs guaranteed* to be played at all 3 TIP dances

  • Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes
  • Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrisson
  • American Pie - Don McLean
  • It's the End of the World - R.E.M.
  • Time Warp
  • Yatta - Happatai (Officially canonized on June 23rd at Duke East '07)

Also "Carolina in my Mind" and "Good Riddance", during the end-of-term slideshow.

Official TIP Songs for specific campuses:

  • Breakfast at Tiffany's(ASU)
  • Save Tonight(ASU)

Other commonly played songs, most of which are considered traditional at this point, include: 


*As of Duke West 2008, there are no guaranteed songs. Staff play whatever songs they feel like, regardless of tradition. Except maybe Crank dat and Window to the Wall. Those might just be guaranteed.
