Residental Counselors (RCs) supervise each RAG at TIP. They are there to make sure TIPsters observe at least some of the rules and don't kill each other. Some RCs are more strict than others. If an RC is required to leave, in some cases the RLC takes over for him or her; in others, a TA will take over. (Note that since the RLC position didn't exist until 2005, it was often much more complex.) Usually, male RCs have male groups and females have female groups. Often, though, TIP hires an equal number of male and female counselors, and there are more male TIPsters than female, so a female RC can get a male group.
