The group of a lifetime. The one that everyone strives to become more like. Barry's Kings crushed 2 out of 3 main competitions during TIP, taking first place at Quadfest on the Blue Team, and winning TIPial Pursuit. The tragedy occurred, however, when the Titanic sank. To everyone's surprise, they didn't place. Although we didn't win, we won the hearts of everyone, and to our delight, 'My Heart Will Go On' is now a dance tradition. Duke West TIPsters, as a RAG, we entrust you all with continuing this tradition. Do not fail us. The Kings of the World had so much talent! They all performed in the talent show, they were the only group that sang in TIPsync, and they so many random areas of mastery. Sean was the director for anything theatrical. The comedians, Dylan, Jordan, Wesley, and Chase filled the talent show with laughter as the Emcees. Mitul is a black belt in three Martial Arts, while Bryan was fluent in two written languages. Donkey became their word of choice after watching Shrek on the first RAG night. On their second RAG night, they grouped up with Erin's RAG and watched Now You See Me. Their final RAG night was a trip to Mellow Mushroom along with Kanise and Bajon's RAG.

Blue Victory

The Blue Team had an epic comeback victory at the end of Quadfest. At halftime, the rankings were: 1] Grellow, 2] Red, 3] Green & Blue. The Kings of the World led blue to a great comeback in many events. First was the boat race: Captain Jordan masterfully directed the boat (which consisted of several 2nd/3rd years and Bennett) around main quad to collect each of the pins. He directed his team to sprint back to the finish line, beating green out by a narrow margin. Next, the Tug-of-War team, led by Chase and Mitul with Daniel at the anchor, destroyed the red team and came in second to green. Finally, the blue team won Day at TIP by actually high-fiving Josiah at the end. One may think that it was their own motivation that pulled them through, but truly it was the pushing of Izzy, Frank, Cathy, and especially Barry that gave them the win. Four points separated first and last place, and only one separated blue from green and grellow.

TipSync

Barry had his RAG thinking of TipSync songs from day one. Frontrunners were *NSYNC's 'Bye Bye Bye' and Nickelback's 'Photograph'. On Wednesday night, the RAG voted in favor of Photograph. However, shortly after the vote, Bennett exlaimed, "Let's just do 'My Heart Will Go On'!". After explanation that it was the song from Titanic, the RAG unanimously agreed to perform 'My Heart Will Go On'. To learn the lyrics of the song, the RAG sang it at night. Once they had practiced repeatedly while singing it, they agreed to actually sing the song instead of lipsync it during TipSync. When there was concern over getting disqualified, Barry asked, "If you sing but get disqualified, is it worth it?". The answer was yes. With the help of Bennett's suggestion, Sean's creative genius, and Jordan and Mitul's heart-wrenching performances as Rose and Jack, respectively, the Kings of the World gave one of the most epic TipSync performances of all time (and possibly the only one in which people actually sang). Lighters (phones) were waved and they won the favor of the crowd. In a shocking turn of events, however, the Kings of the World didn't place. 'My Heart Will Go On' was reprised at all 3 dances, often including the lanyard drop. Additionally, it was performed in The Loop by a part of Barry's RAG when it started playing in the restaurant. Many people stared and some cheered. Sexy Train

One day, the Kings of the World were looking for information of Barry on TiPWiki and Facebook. To his surprise, Bennett discovered that Barry was a part of the original sexy train and informed the RAG. Soon after, they learned that the only punishment would be a loss of 5-6 free time on the last day, so the fourth year guys chose to bring the sexy train back. Throughout the day, they reminded each other to be "in bed at 11:10". The Kings of the World and Josiah's RAG made up the train, conducted by Chase and Mitul with train noises from Jordan. After their departure from O, the train went through the whole second floor. Chase took Josiah's RAG up to the third floor while Mitul led Barry's RAG to the first. Barry's RAG encountered a problem when Brandon, the OSD, blocked them from crossing through the fourth year girls section of the first floor. They immediately turned around and went back to their hall. Two minutes later, Brandon came up yelling super loud saying, 'Come here Right Now!' Everyone knew that they were not going to hear the end of his reprimanding. To their surprise, he made them return to the fourth year girls hall so they would quit their crying from the last dance. The train continued. In the end, it was worth it even though they "lost 5-6 free time" *wink wink.*

Shrek

RAG night #1, the Kings of the World watched Shrek. Little did they know that this would change their lives forever...... Donkey. After hearing Dylan's spot on impersonation, not only did every tipster begin doing impersonations of Shrek, but they were inserting Donkey into different phrases. Donkey replaced curse words, brought smiles to everyone's faces, and filled songs with excitement.
