Eliot Beckham

Eliot is a very cool TiPster.

He did not attend TiP in 2007, but went to East in Term 1 in 2008 as a 2nd year and took Revolution and Terror. He successfully annoyed everyone by falling asleep while reading Rousseau, changing outfits during class, and sucking at frisbee until he was enlightened on the concept of the forehand throw. He also was involved with Spencer Davis and Jack Margolin in the creation of the Consequence bears, although the exact dialouge is not exactly remembered by anyone.

Eliot used to live in Austin, Texas, and he randomly moved to Athens, Georgia right before school started in 2008. Jennifer Cotton and Charlotte Hawkins (and Eliza Rothstein!), also 2nd going on 3rd years, both live in Athens as well, and are elated that Eliot moved there. Even though Eliot doesn't go to their schools, being so close is really awesome. Jennifer ran into Eliot at the Beechwood shopping center on August 15th, and it was so cool.

Upon returning to East as a third year to take Happily Ever After, Eliot brought an actual consequence bear for Spencer, but as it served little logistical purpose, it was stored in the Random Box on the first day of term and did not see the light of day for the next 3 weeks. His violent, aggressive reunion with Hunter Brashear resulted in the creation of You're the Chick, which would soon become the official sport of Brown dorm.

Recently, Eliot has been incredibly angsty. When he gets into an angst spell, you should take all necessary precautions. Stay away and do not mention women. When his angst spells get bad enough, he has been known to do some major cock blocking. He is also currently the subject of a test in classical conditioning, in which he is squirted with a snake-shaped watergun when exhibiting angst (or, in certain circumstances, drenched in several gallons of water on the Union steps).
