Duke East
From the unofficial Duke TIP Wiki
Duke East campus, formerly Trinity College, is one of the sites for TIP Center for Summer Studies. It hosts both a Term I and Term II. It is often viewed by TIPsters as the most traditional and most fun campus, and its courses are often more literary and philosophical ones. West hosts the mathematic and scientific classes.

[edit] Features of Duke East
East is, by far, the best campus for TiP. Its proximity to Ninth Street and its several large quads (see below) make it fun at breaks and for activities, while its lack of air conditioning, erm well, it certainly forms a bond among the TiPsters, in addition to making it extra-imperative that we get to know each other quickly, because death by heat stroke always seems imminent.
There are no more 1st years because TiP got too big. In 1998 term 1, there were 534 people in 5 dorms, including Giles
The boundaries used to be anywhere within East Campus (to the wall), and no 4th year 9th street privileges. Once the lights came on, you had to be within the current boundaries, Baldwin to bus stop in front of the dorms or in a dorm.
