Chris Gregoire is a TiPster returning as a 4th year 4th year at UGA Term 2. He is known for his quick hands at ERS, brotherhood with Sung Yong O and Trey Avent/ The Milkman, and his unparallelled frisbee skills.

1st Year

For first year Chris went to appalachian state, where he was known as one of the better frisbee players there. There he met his two best friends that term in the likes of Joe Horton and Jack Edwards. He also was good friends with Reuben Profeta and Kyle Joneshaw. He made a name for himself on the frisbee field, but unfortunately lost in the championship game of the student frisbee tournament. He took Human Body and bonded with some friends who unfortunately did not return the next year. He also met Trey Avent/ The Milkman and Sung Yong O, which will be continued on in the upcoming paragraphs. Chris was also known as one of the best ERS players at app state, beating all of the rc's and only losing to another tipster in the final of the ERS championship.

2nd Year

This year Chris came to UGA hopeful that it would be better than App State. He found many same faces, Sung, Kyle, Reuben, Trey, but didnt really become close to any of them. He hung out around those mentioned previously. Everything was better than last year, especially all the new people, and it made his TIP experience much better. He took cryptography, and in cryptography he bonded with Melissa Ackaway and Chase Davis who became known as two of his best friends. He continued his ERS dominance but eventually grew bored because the only challenge was a fellow friend Sung Yong O. Now back to his friends, These fourth years helped him realize the true meaning of TiP a wonderful, extraordinary place through their own TiP experiences (even though Chase was a first year fourth year, so who knows??). These two people made his year and helped him realize his want to come back. Overall he met many amazing people his second year, notably Chase Davis, Melissa Ackaway, James Sifford, Tyland Duggins, Andrew Mull, and many other fourth years who had relished their last term. He was sad to see them go, but was determined to live their legacies on.

3rd Year

Hoping to beat last year, Chris came to UGA to find his roomate was one of his better friends from the year before, Sung Yong O. They proceeded to grow extremely close, and were known to hang out mainly by themselves (although you could find him with Trey Avent/ The Milkman quite a bit). If you wanted to find both of them, all you had to do was find one of them. They were known to throw the frisbee all the time, even during the night (undocumented, but true). Chris took the class,The Brain and upon his arrival saw that a not so good friend of his was there as well. Being the only person he knew they became friends and eventually formed a bond so strong, not even Paul Blart could break it. Trey being of gorgeous body and incredible mind, worked with him to form the prestigious The Gentlemans Club (first at UGA) and coined the phrase "We Out Here". Along the way Chris and Trey also took on a challenge known to many as the Vermonster, they finished it in 10:13 (with a little help from fellow classmates Sloan and Shikha). Along with Trey, Chris led his class to victory in NerdQuest beating philosophy and FoPo. With hopeful hearts Chris and Sung started in the Staff Vs. Student Ultimate game, along with other fourth years, and scored the first point, raising their hands in triumphant glory. It looked as if the staff was going to fall at the hands of the Frisbee Gods (as they were known by multiple second years (they were idolized)) It was all downhill from there with the students losing 11-1. Not only did he become friends with Trey, but he also made close friendships with Caroline Cox (she wont stop snapchatting me!), Connor Buehler, and Charlotte Tauss (some claimed this was more than just platonic, but the world will never know). He also had to say goodbye to a great friend that lasted three years, Reuben Profeta. All the fourth years will be desperately missed, but they will continue to live on inside of me as I go through my last term. At the end of the year he asked a second year named Reese Alley to Tipprom. He was passed down Back Dorm Boys, Serenades, Commander of the Human Race, Chris Bollingers Legacy and the Hat by Connor Buehler at the end of the Talent Show. He also recieved the Bora frisbee from Harrison Nugent after he couldn't return. The bond at the end of the term that he had made with his two best friends, Sung and Trey was unbreakable, and he vowed he would return the next year, much to the distaste of his parents. He signed up for his fourth year and has been accepted into Duke TiP.

4th Year

Chris returned this year side by side with one of his best friends from last year, Trey Avent/ The Milkman (as he picked him up at the airport), and they were one of the first people there, and entered Myers with looks of excitement in their eyes. They returned to find that they were in Haramrit's RC group, which was full of their bros from last year such as, Sung Yong O, Josh Brandon, Robert Hellinga, and Marvin Lombardo. To Chris's great excitement he found his roommate was once again Sung Yong O, and the two embraced and smiled as they were finally reunited. The first day Chris also became better introduced to Jack Martha, who he had met last year, but had finally come out of his introverted shell. They quickly became close and knew they would become great friends. He also found a girl from last year, Caroline Cox, and they quickly started a relationtip. During the first day all of his friends from last year, and a new 1st year 4th year named Tey Um all went outside and threw the frisbee, one of Chris and Sung's favorite things to do, and this marked the start of the term for Chris. Chris took Infectious Diseases and found some of his good friends from previous years Chris Pressey and Marvin Lombardo. They quickly became inseparable and annoyed their teacher and TA to no end. They got in lots of trouble, and formed a mutual hatred of their substitute TA Alexander. Chris was known to always wear the Fourth Year Hat, and was called Fedora Boy by his classmates, and was also called "fedorable". Throughout the term Chris and Sung were basically inseparable and were always throwing the frisbee. The First Dance was very memorable, as Chris saw his friend Trey unite the camp. Chris helped Trey open the circle to all years and help it be incredibly inclusive and make it a fun time for all. And problems before this with unity, were basically gone. Along with Trey, Chris had heard stories of the Legendary Anthony Gagliardi, and they met him quickly into the term and learned a lot about TiP from him. Throughout the second week Chris became increasingly closer with Rebecca Schlafke and Andrea in his class, as well as Tanner and Jackson. The frisbee game had been postponed after a thunderstorm but it was finally going to be played the friday of the second week. Sung had hurt his wrist first day, and so the extra time gave him the ability to heal it more. Chris and Sung were incredibly hype for the game, wearing matching white sleeveless shirts the day of the game. They came out and began to throw together, with their throws being crisp and accurate. They were ready to do what nobody had ever done before, beat the staff. Chris gave the speech, called the starters and the game began. Chris pulled the opening throw, and the students quickly took a 1-0 lead. This progressed until it was 6-3 at half. The students had never had double the staff's score at halftime! Chris gave a memorable halftime speech, which included a bee movie quote that got the students ready to win. "To quote one of my favorite movies, I don't know about you but I do not want to be a honey slave, to the staff infection!"-Chris. The students took the field, and they quickly resumed their beautiful play. The score was 9-6 and the staff was coming back. Chris knew he had to do something. He picked up the pull from the staff, and immediately saw his friend Tey streaking down the field. Chris threw a perfect flick end zone to end zone right into the running hands of Tey. The final point, Chris pulled, and then he quickly ran down and batted down a throw by the Staff. He picked up the disc, and quickly threw what was known as the perfect pass directly to his best friend Sung Yong O. It could not have ended better with the Students swarming Sung, and Chris kneeling on the outside, tears of joy on his face. Any unity problems were now eradicated as Chris played a good amount of people and got the entire camp involved. This was a highlight of Chris' term. Dawgfest and the Second dance then happened. Then the TipSync where Chris performed Bruh (alongside Trey, fourth years their second year had also done it), Sweatshirt, and Back Dorm Boys. Back Dorm Boys was with Trey Avent, Sung Yong O, Josh Brandon, and Jack Martha and when asked other TiPsters was the best BDB they had ever seen. The Final week was incredible, and if you look on Trey Avent/ The Milkman 's Page, you will find many of the same things. Fourth year serenades were incredible as Chris led them, his final RC group night downtown was amazing, and his last evening activity to Cali n' Titos was just spectacular as he got to spend time with some close friends. During Orange of the Day on the last Wednesday, Trey and Chris took the opportunity to ask Rebecca Schlafke and Caroline Cox to TiProm. They stole two oranges from Bolton, and wrote "prom?" on both, and announced "will you go to TiProm with us orange. TiPprom was incredible, and Caroline looked amazing. They cried and cried but it was an incredible experience. At the talent show, Chris performed a water bottle flip, and helped Trey with his rendition of ART. During fourth year speeches Chris was last and stood next to his best friend Sung Yong O. He was very emotional during his but gave a good speech and passed down his items. The Serenades and BDB, as well as the Duo Frisbee (Chris and Sung started this frisbee to carry on their frisbee legacy and win over the staff) went to Jonathon Kirkland. The Bora Frisbee went to Savage/Henry. And finally the Hat went to Jack Campbell. The final night was legendary. Chris came back and got pictures with the people he trusted with traditions, signed some termbooks, and had a lot of talks. Eventually he went to IHOP with his good friends, and could be found chugging syrup and downing scalding coffee with Trey. They returned and had a floorgy in the piano room and did one last sandstorm. Then, Chris and Marvin went to Marvin's room and unlocked the window and unscrewed the things that held it in place, and allowed many fourth year guys to climb out onto the roof and run risks of getting fiberglass or caught. He then came back inside and spent some TiPpropriate time with Caroline. They all hung out and said their goodbyes to people, and then at 6:30, Chris and some of his closest friends (girls included) decided they would go onto the roof to watch the sunrise. They got some sick pictures, but an RC saw them on the roof and alerted the other RC's. Chris and Sung and Tey as well as some others used their quick decision making skills to sprint off the roof and pretend to sleep with some girls on the balcony and luckily didn't get caught. Some of his closest friends did, and so he gave them his apologies. He then said goodbye to a special girl, Caroline and had tears in his eyes. He said goodbye to a good majority of his family, and then the time came to do the Vermonster with his four closest friends, the same members as BDB. They ran all the way from Myers to Ben and Jerrys and found their friend Marvin along the way who accompanied them. They then completed the Vermonster in a legendary 4:44 crushing the previous record. The 5 best friends returned to Myers, and along with Tey Um returned their keys one final time. They then went out onto the quad, a place they had called home for three beautiful years, and formed a circle and said their final goodbyes. They cried for a long time before finally parting. Trey and Martha left for the parking garage, Sung and Chris left for their rooms to get luggage, and Brandon and Tey left to go home. Chris, and all his family, left Myers with a deep sadness. They were leaving a place they knew as home, and were never able to come back again. But they left knowing that the things they had done, and the impressions they had made, left their home in capable and loving hands. Chris and Sung then left, saying goodbyes to the RC's who had mentored them for many years, and finally drove to the airport. Chris and Sung, two best friends and two brothers, said their final goodbyes in a Starbucks in the airport. They embraced and shed a few tears, and then left with a "I love you bro" from the both of them. Chris went through security and looked back at the kid he had called a brother for the past three years, and shed a single tear. He then turned and walked away from everything he had grown to love. His home, his mentors, and his family were all in different states. But Chris was OK, because all of those things turned him into the person he is today.

P.S. Thank you TiP for everything you have done for me, I hope this page can help anyone looking back on old tipsters, and let them know how much I loved and cared for TiP. Everything at this place has made me a better person, and if you are a TiPster now, cherish these moments, cause I would give anything to be back for another day.
