Catharine 'Cait' Parnell

Catharine Parnell was a TIPster from 1998-2000. She took Mark Harvey's International Relations 1999, Session I class and took his 2000 Science and Art of Politics class, becoming a charter member of his first group, the KGBm. She returned to TIP to become the TA for Mark Harvey, term 1 the summer of 2004 at Kansas University, the Politics and Practice course. She did not return to TIP the following year because of a summer appointment in 2005 to work at the American embassy in Dublin.

Catharine attended Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA and studied in Argentina. She graduated in 2006 with an B.A. in Political Science with Honors. After graduation, Catharine worked for the Non-Profit Consortium in Cape Town, South Africa and is now enrolled in the University of Georgia School of Law.
