Boosh (also known as quadmuck) is the raw sewage that seems to surface on many of the quads at East Campus. Named by Ann Bethea in Term 1, 2004, the term quickly caught on and is now widely used across East Campus. Some common theories about boosh is that the sewage line that runs underneath the quads has broken and the raw sewage has begun to rise to the surface. Boosh also appears after heavy rain storms or whenever a frisbee is being thrown. The boosh on the circle quad always seems to disappear, however, whenever there is a dance. Another theory presented by the new East tipsters in term 2, 2003 is that boosh is what arises when one combines quad-grass, water, mud, sulphur and plutonium.
